DON’T LET OUR NAME FOOL YOU!  The Broncos are a 4-H club, which began in 1984 in Lucas County. We are an active, fun, and family–orientated club, including both the youth with their families into our activities.  The Broncos are living proof that 4-H is not just for Farm and Horse youth anymore. We have embedded ourselves into our community, county fair and 4-H Youth Development Program over our existence in Lucas County.   The club began as just a horse club but soon realized that many of its members had other project interests too, and so the club was opened to accept any interested youth wanting to take any type of 4-H project offered.  The Broncos attract youth from all across the county, and our nearly 30 members have a project range from “A” to “Z.  Many of our current youth take several projects annually including “Still” and “Horse & Livestock”, with “Small Animals” thrown into the mix for variety.   The Broncos youth and volunteers are not afraid to tackle any 4-H project area of interest with enthusiasm, and determination – we want to see our members learn and achieve
