January 2021
Dear Friends of the Lucas County 4-H Program
The Lucas County 4-H Equestrian Clubs are in the final stages of preparing for this year’s Junior Fair Saddle Horse Show/Competition taking place at the Lucas County Fair Grounds from July 12 thru July 18, 2021. We are hopeful you will find interest in helping these young 4-H participants by showing your support this year.
4-H is a youth developmental education program promoting citizenship, community services, leadership skills, etc. We are a group of dedicated 4-H saddle horse advisors, youth, and parents who plan and promote 4-H Horse Activities in accordance with the OSU Extension 4-H Horse and Youth Development Programs along with representing the department at the state/county levels and at the Lucas County Fair.
A week at fair is expense to run which includes judge fees, ribbons, cost of equipment, and some up-keep. Your donation to our 501c (3) non-profit organization is very much appreciated in order to help this program survive and grow. No donation is too small – and you can sponsor a class for $25.00, with recognition on the day of event. Please know that major contributors will be recognized by a public banner during the week of fair with a donation at the $250.00 level. If you provide a business card or logo, it can be incorporated into this banner. Remember - Your sponsorship is tax exempt.
I am very proud to be associated with this organization and the fine ladies and gentlemen who we work with. Please consider a donation to help defray the cost of this event as no county funds are provided.
Thanking you in advance for your support,
Flo Hannum
